Most jobs combine two operations (e.g. crown raising plus deadwooding) and are quoted as a combined figure, still itemised by operation.
Ground-based work with a pole saw or hand tools is the cheapest access method. Climbing adds cost for rigging and rope-work time; a mobile elevated platform (cherry picker) is sometimes cheaper than climbing on an easy-access tree but needs a firm, level pull-up spot, which not every Sittingbourne garden has. We confirm the access method, and its cost, at the site visit rather than guessing from photos alone for anything beyond a small tree.
